The ACCUPRO 43034-01C is a spiral flute tap designed for cutting M4 x 0.70 metric coarse internal threads in blind holes. It features a modified bottoming chamfer, allowing threads to be cut close to the bottom of a hole. The 3-flute spiral design with a 42-degree helix angle efficiently evacuates chips upward out of the hole, reducing the risk of chip packing. Manufactured from powdered metal with a TICN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating, this tap offers enhanced hardness and wear resistance compared to standard high-speed steel taps.
