The ACCUPRO 35324 is a corner chamfer end mill designed for milling operations that require a chamfered edge profile at the corner of a workpiece. Built from powdered metal, this 5-flute tool offers a 1 inch cutting diameter and a 3 inch length of cut (LOC), making it suitable for moderate-depth passes in a range of materials. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation, and the bright/uncoated finish keeps the tool ready for use on softer steels and non-ferrous metals. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Machinists and tool and die professionals use this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual milling setups where edge chamfering is part of the finishing process.
This end mill is suited for shops producing parts that require consistent chamfered corner profiles, such as mold components, fixtures, and precision machined parts. The coarse pitch flute spacing helps clear chips efficiently during extended cutting passes. The 3/4 inch shank diameter fits standard end mill holders and collet chucks common to vertical machining centers. It is intended for right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction, which aligns with standard spindle rotation on most milling equipment. No extended reach configuration is included on this model.
Designed for use in standard end mill holders and collet chucks accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter. Fits vertical machining centers and manual knee mills configured for right-hand spindle rotation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to prevent premature tool wear or workpiece damage.
