The ACCUPRO 35305 is a corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering and edge-breaking operations on a range of metallic workpiece materials. Built from powdered metal and finished with a TiAlN coating, this tool delivers improved heat resistance and wear life compared to standard high-speed steel tooling. It measures 0.75 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 3.75-inch overall length. The 4-flute, right-hand cutting geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. Centercutting capability allows for plunge operations when required. Machinists and toolroom operators working in job shops, production environments, or maintenance machining will find this tool suited to both manual and CNC milling applications.
This end mill is intended for use in milling operations where consistent chamfer geometry and edge quality are required. The 0.75-inch diameter and 5/8-inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found on vertical machining centers and knee mills. The coarse pitch classification and right-hand flute direction are appropriate for general-purpose ferrous and non-ferrous metal cutting. It is a single-piece unit suited for low-to-medium volume production runs as well as one-off toolroom work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-application corner chamfer end mill for use in standard end mill holders and collet chucks accepting a 5/8-inch shank diameter on vertical machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's tooling guidelines. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe lockout state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the retention mechanism to the holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a coated end mill.
