The ACCUPRO 33090 is a corner chamfer end mill designed for precision milling of chamfers and angled edges in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from powdered metal with a TiAlN coating, this 8-flute tool delivers extended tool life and heat resistance in high-speed and dry cutting applications. At 2 inches in cutting diameter with a 2-inch length of cut, it handles substantial material removal in a single pass. The 1.25-inch shank diameter and 4.5-inch overall length suit it for rigid setups in knee mills, VMCs, and CNC machining centers. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard on this tool.
The ACCUPRO 33090 is suited for machinists performing chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials. The fine pitch, 30-degree helix, and centercutting geometry allow it to be used for plunge entry as well as peripheral cuts. It performs well in production environments where consistent edge quality and long run times between tool changes are priorities. Typical users include CNC machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in job shops or manufacturing facilities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tooling option for standard 1.25-inch straight-shank end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before loading or removing the end mill from the tool holder. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder matched to the 1.25-inch shank diameter and torque the retention mechanism per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run to avoid premature tool wear or workpiece damage.
