The ACCUPRO 32309577 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for cutting hardened steels, stainless, and other difficult alloys. The tool measures 3/32 inches (0.0938 inches) in diameter with a 0.0790-inch length of cut and a 1/8-inch shank diameter. An AlTiCrN coating provides elevated hot hardness and oxidation resistance, extending tool life in high-speed and dry-cutting conditions. The 2-flute geometry offers a balance of chip evacuation and cutting edge strength suited to small-diameter profiling and slotting work. Installed by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC mills and manual knee mills.
This end mill is well suited for finishing passes, contour milling, and detail work in die and mold applications where small radii and tight tolerances are required. The ball nose profile generates a continuous curved surface geometry ideal for 3D profiling cuts. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.0620-inch neck length, it provides adequate clearance for shallow pocket work while maintaining stiffness at this diameter. The 1/8-inch shank fits standard ER collets and small-bore end mill holders commonly found in precision machining setups.
Designed as an OEM-style precision cutting tool fitting standard 1/8-inch ER collets and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per applicable safety procedures. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the nut to the collet manufacturer specification before operation. At this diameter, runout control is critical — use a precision collet with low TIR to prevent premature edge chipping. Verify feed and speed parameters against the workpiece material and coating recommendations before first use.
