The ACCUPRO 31667983 is a solid carbide double angle milling cutter designed for precision V-groove, chamfer, and angular milling operations on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Built with a 90-degree included angle and a 3/32-inch cutting diameter, this cutter handles tight, fine-detail work where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are critical. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers consistent edge sharpness on non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. With an overall length of 1-1/2 inches and a 1/8-inch shank diameter, this tool is sized for compact toolholders and small-diameter collets. Machinists and toolroom operators working on intricate die work, engraving, or deburring applications reach for cutters in this class.
This cutter is suited for light-duty angular milling tasks in job shop, toolroom, and production machining environments. Its 3/64-inch cutting width and 2-flute geometry make it appropriate for cutting narrow V-grooves and precise chamfers on small workpieces. The 1/8-inch shank fits standard ER collet chucks and small end mill holders commonly found on mini-mills, CNC routers, and bench-top machining centers. Typical materials include aluminum, brass, plastics, and other non-ferrous or soft materials where uncoated carbide performs reliably.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard toolroom addition for small-shank toolholders and collet systems accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Secure the 1/8-inch shank fully within the collet or toolholder to the manufacturer-specified minimum insertion depth before tightening. Confirm spindle is fully stopped and machine is powered down before changing tooling. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as solid carbide is brittle and sensitive to interrupted cuts or excessive runout.
