The ACCUPRO 315489 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 3/8-inch mill diameter, a 1/2-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length with an extended reach of 2.125 inches. The 37-degree variable-fixed helix and three-flute spiral geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in demanding materials. Centercutting capability allows for plunge milling as well as conventional side milling. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working with precision toolpaths.

The 315489 is suited for milling applications requiring a corner radius profile to produce blended, radiused edges on workpiece features. Its extended reach makes it appropriate for deep-pocket work and stepped-part configurations where standard-reach end mills cannot access the full feature depth.
