The ACCUPRO 314954 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining applications. It features a 5/8 inch cutting diameter, a 2-3/4 inch length of cut, and a 5 inch overall length. The 3-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 37-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in demanding materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry without a pilot hole. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.
