The ACCUPRO 314726 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composite, and hard-material applications. It features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 3-flute geometry with a 37-degree right-hand spiral helix. The micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance under demanding cutting conditions. This end mill ships bright and uncoated, making it well-suited for applications where coating-induced dimensional tolerance is a concern. It is a single-end, center-cutting tool with right-hand cutting direction.
This end mill is used in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills across production and job-shop environments. Its 3/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders common in those setups. The 37-degree helix promotes efficient chip evacuation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank to the minimum insertion depth recommended for the holder type in use to avoid deflection. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material.
