The ACCUPRO 313463 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch diameter with a 2-1/4 inch length of cut and a 45-degree helix angle, making it well suited for aggressive material removal while maintaining a quality finish. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating provides increased surface hardness and lubricity, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. With a micrograin carbide grade and spiral flute geometry, this end mill delivers consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is a single-end tool with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction, installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is intended for milling operations on machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where a 3/4 inch shank diameter is required. The 2-flute configuration suits slotting, profiling, and plunge cutting where chip evacuation is a priority. The 5 inch overall length accommodates standard toolholding setups. It is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry into workpiece material. Typical applications include side milling, peripheral milling, and full-slot cutting in steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar materials.
Designed for use in toolholders and collet chucks that accept a 3/4 inch shank diameter, compatible with standard CNC machining centers and manual milling machines configured for right-hand cutting tools.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool path program verified before mounting or removing end mills. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or wear before each use, and confirm the runout of the assembled tool in the spindle before beginning a cut.
