The ACCUPRO 313450 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length. The 0.090 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life in slotting, profiling, and finishing operations. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating provides enhanced wear resistance and lubricity, making this end mill well-suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in production or job shop environments.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for applications that require a radiused corner in the finished workpiece. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece, giving operators flexibility for full-depth plunge and ramp-entry toolpaths. With a regular length classification and a 3/4 inch shank diameter, it seats directly into standard ER or end mill holders without adapters in most setups. It is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where corner radius consistency is critical to part tolerances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tool for standard 3/4 inch end mill holders and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a corner radius end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully into the tool holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the set screw or collet nut per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run to confirm proper seating and minimize premature tool wear.
