Built from micrograin carbide stock, it carries a ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating that extends tool life and reduces built-up edge in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cutter runs a 45-degree helix angle with 2 right-hand spiral flutes, producing efficient chip evacuation and a clean finish. It is centercutting, making it capable of plunge entry without a pre-drilled pocket. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians use this end mill in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual setups where tight tolerances on slot and profile cuts are required.
