The ACCUPRO 311800 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance metal cutting in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin carbide stock, it runs a 0.75 inch mill diameter with a 2.25 inch length of cut and a 38-degree helix angle. The five-flute design increases chip load capacity and surface finish quality compared to standard four-flute tools. An AlTiCrN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life under elevated cutting temperatures. This end mill is a single-end tool with a right-hand cutting direction and spiral flute geometry. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace, and general metalworking applications install and use this tool in milling centers and machining cells.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and finishing passes in ferrous and hardened materials where heat resistance and edge retention are critical. The variable index geometry reduces harmonic chatter during aggressive passes. The 0.75 inch shank diameter matches standard ER and side-lock toolholders common on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The Series HS designation indicates high-speed and hard-material capability. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry where required by the operation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for 0.75 inch shank toolholders used in CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers requiring a five-flute solid carbide square end mill.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians using a toolholder appropriate for the 0.75 inch shank diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or carousel is in a safe position before inserting or removing the end mill. Confirm proper runout with a dial indicator after seating the tool in the holder. Follow machine manufacturer torque specifications for collet nuts or set screws when securing the shank.
