Product Description

The ACCUPRO 311666 is a single-end, solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. It carries a 0.5-inch (1/2 inch) diameter with a 0.120-inch corner radius and a 5-flute configuration with a 38-degree helix angle. The AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection during high-speed cutting operations. With a length of cut of 1.625 inches and a 4-inch overall length, this end mill is suited for moderate-depth slotting, profiling, and finishing passes on hardened and abrasive materials. It is centercutting and uses right-hand flute direction and cutting direction.

This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual milling applications across aerospace, die and mold, and general metalworking industries. The variable index geometry helps reduce chatter and harmonic vibration during profiling cuts. Installation Notes
