The ACCUPRO 311576 is a 5-flute solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. With a 3/8 inch diameter and a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, it carries an AlTiCrN coating that improves heat resistance and wear life during aggressive cuts. The 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill on CNC machining centers and manual mills for finishing and semi-finishing operations in hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys.
This end mill suits precision work in job shops, aerospace component machining, and mold and die applications where tight tolerances and surface finish are priorities. The micrograin carbide substrate supports higher speeds and feeds than standard carbide grades. The variable index geometry helps suppress chatter in thin-wall and deep-pocket cutting scenarios. It is a single-end, right-hand cutting, right-hand spiral tool with a 3/8 inch straight shank for standard collet and milling chuck holders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement end mill compatible with standard 3/8 inch collets, shrink-fit holders, and milling chucks on CNC and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO Series HS line.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or milling chuck; contamination or worn toolholders will reduce runout performance and shorten tool life. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling in accordance with applicable machine safety procedures. Torque the drawbar or collet nut to the machine manufacturer specification. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning production cuts.
