The ACCUPRO 311537 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 3/8 inch mill diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The five-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. An AlCrTiN coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The variable index flute spacing reduces harmonic chatter, making this end mill suitable for aggressive material removal passes as well as finishing work. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments install this tool in standard 3/8 inch collets or end mill holders.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a corner radius profile is required to blend floor-to-wall transitions and reduce stress concentrations in pocketed features. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece. The micrograin carbide substrate and AlCrTiN coating make it well suited for hardened steels, stainless steels, titanium alloys, and other difficult-to-machine materials. It is a single-end tool from the ACCUPRO HS series.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/8 inch shank diameter end mill holder or collet chuck.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth and torque the retention hardware according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation before beginning a cut cycle.
