The ACCUPRO 311434 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. Built with a 0.25-inch diameter and five flutes, it delivers a fine surface finish with efficient chip evacuation. The AlCrTiN coating provides high heat resistance and wear protection, making it well-suited for harder workpiece materials. With a 38-degree variable-index helix, the 311434 reduces chatter and vibration during cuts. It is a centercutting design, allowing plunge operations in addition to peripheral and slot milling. Machinists and CNC programmers in job shops and production environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for profiling, contouring, and finishing cuts where a small corner radius is required to blend walls and floors. The 0.010-inch corner radius minimizes stress concentrations at inside corners without fully rounding the profile. With a 0.75-inch length of cut and a 2.5-inch overall length, it handles moderate-depth passes in a standard toolholder. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC setups. It is appropriate for use in ferrous and hardened alloy applications where coating performance is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for 0.25-inch collet or end mill holders in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a 1/4-inch shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 0.25-inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to protect edge integrity and workpiece tolerance.
