The ACCUPRO 311375 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter, a 5/16 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The five-flute geometry combined with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes at higher feed rates. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The 0.010 inch corner radius protects the cutting edge from chipping during interrupted cuts or when machining hard materials. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece. It is installed by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where a small-diameter, multi-flute tool is required. Applications include slot milling, profiling, and finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, and other tough alloys. The variable index flute spacing reduces harmonic vibration during deep-reach passes, making it appropriate for fine finishing work in tight tolerances. The 3/16 inch shank diameter matches the cutter diameter, allowing use in standard collet systems without an adapter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/16 inch collet or end mill holder.
Installation and tool changes must be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state per applicable machine tool safety procedures. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder rated for the 3/16 inch shank diameter and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Do not exceed the manufacturer-recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use and replace the tool if edge integrity is compromised.
