The ACCUPRO 310513 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 4-flute configuration with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction, and an AlCrTiN coating that provides excellent thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The 38-degree variable index helix promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces chatter. With a 3.25 inch length of cut and a 6 inch overall length, this tool is suited for deep-reach profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling operations. It is centercutting, allowing it to plunge directly into the workpiece material.
This end mill is used in ferrous and non-ferrous metal machining environments including aerospace, die and mold, and general precision machining shops. The micrograin solid carbide substrate and AlCrTiN coating make it well suited for hardened steels, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys. The straight cylindrical shank with a 3/4 inch diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic tool holders commonly used on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 3/4 inch straight-shank end mill holders, ER collet systems, and hydraulic chucks used on CNC milling machines and machining centers requiring a single-end corner radius tool.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify that the collet or holder bore matches the 3/4 inch shank diameter and that the tool is secured to the recommended clamping torque specified by the tool holder manufacturer. Confirm correct tool length offset in the CNC controller before beginning a cutting cycle.
