The ACCUPRO 2500536 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hard materials. It features a 7/16 inch diameter with a 0.0200 inch corner radius, four flutes, and an AlCrTiN coating that provides heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures. The 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, while the variable index geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. At 3 inches overall length with a 1-1/8 inch length of cut, this tool is suited for profiling, slotting, and finishing passes where edge life and dimensional accuracy matter. Centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry. Installed by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
The ACCUPRO 2500536 is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for applications including pocket milling, contour profiling, and finishing operations on hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys. The micrograin carbide substrate and AlCrTiN coating make it a practical choice for dry or minimum-quantity lubrication cutting strategies. The single-end configuration and right-hand flute direction with right-hand cutting make it a standard fit for conventional vertical machining center spindles.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill for use in standard 7/16 inch collet or end mill holder setups on CNC machining centers and manual mills requiring a right-hand, single-end tool.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank in a properly sized collet, shrink-fit holder, or end mill holder rated for the 7/16 inch shank diameter, and torque to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing cuts. Inspect the cutting edge and coating condition before each use; do not run a chipped or delaminated tool at full parameters.
