The ACCUPRO 2500535 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where edge integrity and surface finish are critical. Built to Series HS standards, it features a 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) mill diameter, a 4-flute spiral configuration with a 38-degree helix angle, and an AlCrTiN coating that resists heat and wear in demanding cutting conditions. The corner radius measures 0.0200 inches, reducing stress concentration at the cutting edge and extending tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
The 2500535 suits finish milling, profiling, and contouring operations in tool steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, and similar materials where a corner radius is specified to prevent edge chipping or to match part geometry. With a 7/8 inch length of cut and 2-3/4 inch overall length, it fits standard 7/16 inch collets or end mill holders. The micrograin carbide substrate and variable index geometry help reduce chatter and improve chip evacuation during both roughing passes and finish cuts. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 7/16 inch shank end mill holders and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a corner radius end mill with AlCrTiN coating.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the end mill from the holder. Use a torque wrench and the holder manufacturer's specified procedure when tightening collet nuts or set screws to prevent tool pullout. Verify runout with a dial indicator after seating to confirm proper concentricity before beginning a cut.
