The ACCUPRO 2500439 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering operations on a wide range of materials. The tool features a 3/4 inch cutter head diameter and a 60-degree included angle, making it well suited for producing clean, consistent edge breaks and chamfers in production and job-shop environments. With a TiCN coating applied over the solid carbide substrate, the 2500439 offers improved wear resistance and surface hardness compared to uncoated tooling. This 2-flute, right-hand cutting mill has a 4 inch overall length and a 3/4 inch straight shank. It is typically installed by machinists and CNC operators working in metalworking, fabrication, and precision machining applications.
This chamfer mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual milling machines where chamfering, countersinking, and edge deburring are required. The 3/4 inch shank diameter provides rigid tool holding in standard end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling arbors. The right-hand cutting geometry is compatible with standard spindle rotation on the vast majority of milling equipment. The TiCN coating extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous material applications including steel, aluminum, and cast iron.
Designed as a direct-fit chamfer mill for use in standard 3/4 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling arbors on CNC and manual milling equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully within the tool holder to the minimum insertion depth recommended by the holder manufacturer before tightening. Verify spindle rotation direction matches the right-hand cutting geometry before initiating a cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage prior to each use, as carbide tooling can fracture if run with pre-existing edge damage.
