The ACCUPRO 2500384 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, tool and die, and general machining environments. The cutter measures 7/32 inches (0.2188 inches) in diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. Its 5-flute geometry and 45-degree right-hand helix promote efficient chip evacuation and a superior surface finish at higher feed rates. The micrograin carbide construction provides the edge retention and rigidity needed for demanding ferrous and non-ferrous applications. This is a single-end, centercutting tool suited for plunge, slot, and peripheral milling.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines where a small-diameter, tight-tolerance cutter is required. Its 1/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic toolholders commonly found in production shops and tool rooms. The bright uncoated finish makes it a straightforward choice for aluminum, brass, and other non-ferrous materials, as well as light-duty steel cuts where a coating is not specified by the job.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 1/4 inch shank, compatible with ER collet systems and end mill holders accepting 1/4 inch round shanks on CNC and manual milling equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the recommended gauge-line depth before tightening; insufficient engagement reduces rigidity and accelerates tool wear. Verify spindle runout with a dial indicator after tool installation, as excessive runout shortens tool life on small-diameter carbide cutters. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use and never exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the work material.
