The ACCUPRO 2500292 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 1-inch cutting diameter, a 1.25-inch length of cut, and a 3-flute configuration, this tool delivers clean material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. The 60-degree helix angle promotes aggressive chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces at the tool-workpiece interface. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide, it offers the rigidity and wear resistance required for tight-tolerance work. The bright uncoated finish suits applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. This is a single-end, stub-length tool intended for CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by skilled machinists.
This end mill is suited for use in production and job-shop environments where dimensional accuracy and surface finish are critical. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling setups on vertical machining centers. The stub length-of-cut format provides added rigidity, making it appropriate for applications where tool deflection must be minimized, such as pocketing, slotting, and profiling in harder materials. The 1-inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in machine shops.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for standard 1-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling machine spindles accepting a 1-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tooling setup and runout verification. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended engagement depth before torquing set screws or collet nuts to the holder specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to confirm the tool is properly seated.
