The ACCUPRO 2500288 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride), it delivers hardness and wear resistance suited to ferrous and non-ferrous applications. The 5/8 inch cutting diameter is matched by a 5/8 inch shank diameter, keeping the setup concentric and rigid. With 5 fine-pitch flutes and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, this tool removes chips efficiently while maintaining a stable cut. It is a standard-length, non-center-cutting tool intended for side milling and profiling passes, not plunge entry. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.

This end mill is suited for roughing passes on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers as well as manual knee mills. The 1.5 inch length of cut and 3.5 inch overall length make it appropriate for moderate-depth side milling in steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials where TiCN coating provides adequate lubricity and heat resistance.
