The ACCUPRO 2500277 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 5/32-inch (0.1563-inch) cutting diameter with a 9/16-inch length of cut and five flutes for efficient chip evacuation and improved surface finish. The 45-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces cutting forces across a range of workpiece materials. A TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating increases surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding applications. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, toolrooms, and production environments.
This end mill suits ferrous and non-ferrous milling applications where a fine finish and tight tolerances are required. The 3/16-inch shank diameter and 2-inch overall length make it compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders used in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills. The centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling passes. It is well suited for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling on steel, stainless steel, and similar materials where a right-hand spiral, right-hand cut configuration is standard.

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing any end mill. Secure the shank fully within the collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth per the holder manufacturer's guidelines. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear and reduces dimensional accuracy.
