The ACCUPRO 2500111 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precise chamfering operations on metallic and non-metallic workpieces. With a 3/8-inch cutter head diameter and 4 flutes, it delivers clean, consistent angled cuts at a 60-degree included angle. The bright/uncoated finish makes it well suited for general-purpose chamfering where a coating is not required. The tool measures 2.5 inches overall length with a 3/8-inch shank diameter. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this end mill on CNC machining centers and manual mills where deburring and edge-breaking are part of the standard workflow.
This chamfer mill is used in production and job-shop environments for edge chamfering, deburring, and countersinking operations. Its right-hand cutting direction and single end configuration make it a straightforward drop-in for standard tool holders accepting a 3/8-inch shank. Typical applications include chamfering holes, slots, and part edges on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where tight angular tolerances are required.
Designed as an OEM-style chamfer mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines that accept a 3/8-inch straight shank end mill holder or collet chuck.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard tooling change procedures. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the tool. Secure the shank fully within the collet or tool holder to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth before torquing. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before use and follow applicable shop safety standards for rotating cutting tools.
