The ACCUPRO 2500024 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering operations on metallic and composite workpieces. This double-end tool features a 3/16 inch cutter head diameter, a 90-degree included angle, and a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating that reduces friction and extends tool life in demanding cutting environments. With 2 flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, it delivers clean edge breaks and angled profiles on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 2 inches overall length and 0.4 pounds, it is well-suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where compact tooling is required. Machinists, tool and die makers, and precision fabricators install this type of tooling in production and job shop environments.
This chamfer mill is intended for chamfering operations where a 90-degree included angle is required. Its 3/16 inch shank diameter and 2-inch overall length make it appropriate for small-format workholding setups and tight-clearance spindle configurations. The TiCN coating provides wear resistance suitable for cutting steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar materials encountered in general machining applications. It is packaged and sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chamfer mill for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and similar machine tools equipped with collet systems or end mill holders accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter.
This tooling is installed by machinists or tooling technicians in a standard collet or end mill holder sized for a 3/16 inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or quill is locked before inserting or removing the tool. Verify runout with a dial indicator after seating to confirm proper clamping before cutting. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine manufacturer guidelines for tool engagement rates and speeds when working with carbide end mills.
