The ACCUPRO 20361 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit sized at 11/64 inches (0.1700 inches decimal) with a 150-degree drill point angle and a titanium nitride (TiN) coating. Built for precision hole-making in demanding materials, this bit features a 3-flute spiral design with a regular spiral type and a straight cylindrical shank. The overall length is 2.75 inches with a flute length of 1 inch. Right-hand cutting direction and a standard point type make it suitable for CNC drilling operations and manual drilling in metalworking, machining, and general fabrication environments. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers and operators of this bit.
This drill bit is designed for use in light to medium-duty drilling applications where tight tolerances and clean hole finishes are required. The TiN coating extends tool life by reducing friction and heat buildup at the cutting edge. With a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio, it handles chip evacuation effectively in short-to-medium depth holes. The ANSI specification designation confirms it meets standard dimensional requirements for jobber length tooling. It is well suited for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials in shop or production environments.
Designed as a standard jobber length drill bit with a straight cylindrical shank conforming to ANSI specifications, compatible with drill chucks and collets accepting a 0.1700-inch diameter shank in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand drills.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or trained operators familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Ensure the drill chuck or collet is fully seated and torqued before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use, as solid carbide is brittle and susceptible to damage from improper handling or interrupted cuts. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for speed and feed settings.
