The ACCUPRO 14981775 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in ferrous machining applications. With a 0.1250 inch (1/8 inch) mill diameter and four flutes, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and a smooth finish in steel and similar workpiece materials. The AlTiN coating provides high-temperature resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. At 1.5000 inches overall length with a 0.3750 inch length of cut, this is a compact, right-hand cutting tool suited for tight-tolerance slots, pockets, and profiling work on CNC mills and manual machining centers.
This end mill is intended for use in metal-cutting environments where steel is the primary workpiece material. The single-end, straight-shank design fits standard 1/8 inch collets and tool holders commonly found in production shops, tool rooms, and maintenance machining setups. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry supports consistent chip flow in conventional and climb milling operations. It is a regular-length tool in the ACCUPRO Series 524 lineup, appropriate for general-purpose slotting and profiling where short reach is acceptable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8 inch collets or end mill holders. Primary workpiece material is steel (ISO material group P).
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked or e-stop state. Use a calibrated torque wrench and appropriate collet nut wrench when seating the shank in the holder to ensure runout is minimized. Inspect the shank and collet bore for chips or contamination before clamping. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the specific workpiece material.
