The ACCUPRO 14883487 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for machining hardened steels, stainless alloys, and non-ferrous materials. The cutting diameter measures 0.0312 inches (1/32 inch) with a length of cut of 0.1560 inches (5/32 inch). Three spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation at small diameters. The bright/uncoated finish makes it suitable for aluminum and other non-ferrous materials where coating adhesion can be a concern. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 1/8-inch shank diameter.
This end mill is intended for close-tolerance finish milling, slotting, and profiling passes where small-diameter tooling is required. It is well suited to CNC machining centers, manual mills, and high-speed spindle setups used in tool-and-die, mold making, medical device machining, and precision part manufacturing. The 1/8-inch shank allows it to seat in standard collets and end mill holders used across a wide range of machining setups. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are the standard configuration for conventional and climb milling on common CNC platforms.
Designed for use in standard 1/8-inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CC-30H series of fractional-inch solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism to the holder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as micro-grain carbide at this diameter is sensitive to chipping from improper handling or excessive runout.
