The ACCUPRO 14881907 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-precision miniature milling applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this single-end tool delivers tight tolerances and consistent performance in hardened and abrasive materials. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. At 0.0156 inches in diameter with a 0.022-inch length of cut and three flutes, this tool is engineered for fine-detail work where dimensional accuracy is critical. A licensed machinist or toolroom technician is the typical end user for tooling at this scale.
This end mill is suited for CNC milling operations requiring small-diameter, extended-reach capability. The 1/8-inch shank diameter makes it compatible with standard collets used in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. The extended reach configuration and 1/8-inch neck length allow access to deep or recessed features that standard-length tools cannot reach. Typical applications include die and mold work, medical component machining, aerospace detail parts, and precision fixture fabrication where fine feature geometry is required.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter; part of the ACCUPRO Miniature series for small-diameter precision milling.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state per applicable shop safety procedures. Use a properly sized collet or toolholder rated for the 1/8-inch shank diameter to ensure runout is minimized at this scale. At diameters below 1/32 inch, excessive clamping force or collet contamination can cause tool breakage; inspect and clean the collet bore before seating the tool. Speeds and feeds should be dialed in conservatively on first use given the small cutting diameter.
