The ACCUPRO 14799511 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.0200-inch diameter, a 0.0050-inch corner radius, and a 4-flute right-hand spiral configuration, this tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in hardened and abrasive materials. The AlTiN coating increases surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting environments. The 0.75-inch length of cut and 1.5-inch overall length make it suitable for shallow-to-moderate depth passes where tool rigidity is critical. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in CNC machining centers are the primary installers of this end mill.
This end mill is built for miniature and fine-detail milling work common in mold making, die work, medical device manufacturing, and aerospace component machining. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, adding versatility for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling operations. The 1/8-inch shank diameter is standard for miniature tooling setups and fits collets commonly found in high-speed CNC spindles. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining edge stability at small diameters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature end mill compatible with CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles accepting a 1/8-inch collet. Confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and collet condition before use in any specific machine setup.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop-standard tooling procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet. Use a calibrated torque wrench and appropriate collet nut tool to secure the shank without over-tightening, which can damage the shank tolerance. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as miniature carbide tools are brittle and sensitive to impact or improper handling.
