The ACCUPRO 14797331 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and hardened materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide with an AlTiN coating, it handles high-heat cutting environments where HSS tooling falls short. The 1/4 inch diameter, 3-flute geometry produces a balance of chip evacuation and cutting rigidity suited to finishing and semi-finishing passes. A 30-degree right-hand spiral helix promotes smooth chip flow, and the extended reach configuration with a 2.5 inch neck length makes it practical for deep-pocket and step milling operations where clearance is critical.

This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills in job shop, production, and tool-and-die environments. The 3/8 inch length of cut accommodates slot, peripheral, and plunge operations within its rated range. Extended reach geometry allows access to recessed features without tool-length extension holders in many setups. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation.
