The ACCUPRO 14797287 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin carbide stock, this single-end tool features a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) cutting diameter, a 0.139 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation. With three flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral and right-hand cutting direction, the tool balances rigidity and chip clearance for its size class. Centercutting geometry allows both plunge and peripheral milling. This tool is sized for close-tolerance work and is typically installed by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and bench-top mills where small-diameter tooling is required. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and precision chucks commonly found in production and toolroom environments. Extended reach geometry with a 1.125 inch neck length and 0.950 inch reach length makes it capable of accessing recessed features and stepped pockets. The bright, uncoated finish suits aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous workpiece materials where coating adhesion is not a concern.
Designed as a standard fractional-inch shank end mill for use in any machine spindle or collet system accepting a 1/8 inch straight shank. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CCER series of solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator following the machine tool manufacturer's setup procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, particularly at this small diameter where deflection sensitivity is elevated.
