The ACCUPRO 14797251 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It features a 0.07-inch cutting diameter, a 0.105-inch length of cut, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The tool is coated with AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) for elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in high-speed applications. Micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention in demanding cut conditions. This is a single-end, center-cutting tool, meaning it can plunge as well as profile. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with tight-tolerance features will find this end mill suited for slots, pockets, and contour work.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter precision cutting is required. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collet systems and tool holders common in precision shop environments. With an overall length of 2.5 inches, a reach length of 0.85 inches, and a neck length of 0.375 inches, it is configured for extended-reach applications where clearance depth is a factor. The AlTiN coating makes it well suited for dry or semi-dry cutting of hardened steels, stainless, and cast iron. No coolant-through capability is present, so external coolant or air blast is the standard approach.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with collet systems or tool holders accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-AT-CCER series of AlTiN-coated solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's runout and torque specifications for the collet or end mill holder in use. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before mounting or removing the tool. Verify shank seating depth and collet engagement before initiating any cut. Do not exceed the tool's rated length of cut; cutting beyond the listed 0.105-inch LOC with this diameter risks deflection and tool breakage.
