The ACCUPRO 14797208 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.05 inch cutting diameter and a 0.075 inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-feature milling. The three-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Micrograin carbide construction delivers hardness and wear resistance suited to demanding CNC and manual mill operations. The bright, uncoated finish makes this end mill a practical choice for general-purpose cuts where coating is not required. Licensed machinists and toolroom professionals are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is sized for small-diameter work such as slotting, profiling, and finishing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The 0.125 inch shank diameter and 2.5 inch overall length allow it to seat in standard collets used on CNC machining centers, knee mills, and similar equipment. The extended reach design and 0.25 inch reach length provide clearance when working near walls or deep features without requiring a specialty holder. Center-cutting capability allows direct plunge entry where the operation calls for it.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct addition to tooling inventories for standard 0.125 inch collet systems used in CNC machining centers, vertical knee mills, and similar milling equipment requiring small-diameter square end mills.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet or tool holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended engagement depth and the collet nut is torqued according to the tool holder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use, as micrograin carbide tools at this diameter are sensitive to side-loading and improper runout.
