The ACCUPRO 14797170 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 1/32 inch (0.0312 inch) mill diameter and a 0.046 inch length of cut, this tool is built for fine detail work where dimensional accuracy is critical. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It runs as a single-end, right-hand cutting tool with a 30-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry. HVAC sheet metal fabricators, industrial machinists, and toolroom operators working with CNC or manual milling equipment will find this end mill suited for miniature slot and profile work.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and precision toolroom equipment where small-diameter tooling is required. The 0.047 inch reach length and extended reach geometry allow access to narrow pockets and close-clearance features. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well-suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and general-purpose milling where coatings are not required or preferred. It is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for production shops and maintenance machining operations alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter collet or tool holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tool-change procedures. Ensure the milling machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing tooling. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to the machine manufacturer's specified clamping torque. Verify runout after installation before beginning a cut, as small-diameter carbide tooling is sensitive to excessive runout and can fracture under improper loading.
