The ACCUPRO 14797165 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. Built from micrograin carbide, it features a 1/32 inch (0.0312 inch) mill diameter and a 3-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle. The single-end, centercutting design allows it to plunge and interpolate in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1/8 inch shank diameter and an extended reach of 0.25 inches, this tool is suited for machining small features, slots, and profiles where clearance is limited. The bright, uncoated finish makes it straightforward to inspect for wear after use.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for small-feature work in tool and die, mold making, electronics, and general precision machining environments. The 0.046 inch length of cut is intended for shallow passes in confined areas where larger tooling cannot reach. The right-hand cutting direction and spiral flute geometry promote chip evacuation in small-diameter applications. Machinists working with aluminum, brass, plastics, and light steels will find this tool fits standard small-bore collet systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool compatible with standard 1/8 inch collets and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring small-diameter end mills in the ASQSC3-CCER series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolroom practices. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. The 1/8 inch shank must be seated to the full recommended collet depth to prevent runout and tool pullout during cutting. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut for the 0.046 inch length of cut specification, as overloading a small-diameter carbide end mill can result in sudden breakage.
