The ACCUPRO 14797119 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 0.07-inch cutting diameter and a 0.21-inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-diameter applications. The micrograin carbide construction delivers hardness and wear resistance suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It runs in a right-hand cutting direction with a right-hand spiral flute and a 30-degree helix angle. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling passes. This end mill is sold individually and installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop settings.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling tasks including slots, profiles, and contour passes where a 1/8-inch shank diameter is required. The extended-reach geometry, with a 0.5-inch reach length, allows access to recessed features without interference from the shank. The bright, uncoated finish makes it a straightforward choice for general-purpose applications where coatings are not required or where re-sharpening is anticipated. It is appropriate for use on vertical machining centers and CNC mills running small-diameter toolpaths.
Designed as a standard 1/8-inch shank square end mill compatible with collets, end mill holders, and chucks accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter on CNC mills and manual vertical milling machines.
Installation is performed by machinists using an appropriate collet or end mill holder sized for a 0.125-inch shank. Verify runout at the spindle and holder before commencing cuts, as diameter tolerance on small-diameter end mills is critical to finished part accuracy. Confirm clamping torque meets the toolholder manufacturer's specification before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, and do not exceed the recommended depth of cut for the diameter.
