The ACCUPRO 14797065 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in demanding machining environments. With a 0.09 inch cutting diameter and a 0.135 inch length of cut, this single-end mill is built for tight-tolerance work in small-diameter applications. The AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote chip evacuation and reduce cutting forces. Machinists and toolroom operators working on CNC mills and machining centers rely on micrograin carbide construction for edge retention at high surface speeds.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where small-diameter tooling is required. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and precision toolholders common in CNC vertical machining centers and small-bore spindles. The compact 1.5 inch overall length keeps overhang minimal, reducing deflection during light finishing passes. It is not center-cutting by design for plunge operations and should be used in ramping or helical entry strategies when required.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with collet chucks or toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC4-AT-CC-30H series of AlTiN-coated square end mills.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC toolroom technicians. Power down and de-energize the spindle before loading or unloading tooling. Secure the shank fully within the collet or toolholder to the recommended engagement depth to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before use; chipped or worn carbide should not be run, as small-diameter end mills are sensitive to runout and improper clamping torque.
