The ACCUPRO 14797051 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.034-inch cutting diameter and a 0.051-inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in confined pockets and slots. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration provides efficient chip evacuation and a smooth finish. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in dry or high-speed cutting conditions. Micrograin carbide construction adds hardness and wear resistance. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC mills, machining centers, and manual knee mills.
This end mill is suited for applications requiring fine detail cuts, micro-milling, and small-diameter slot work. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet systems and small-bore toolholders common in precision machining setups. The single-end design and 30-degree helix angle make it appropriate for general-purpose profiling and slotting in materials such as steel, stainless, aluminum, and hardened workpieces where AlTiN coating provides thermal protection. Center-cutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tooling for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting 1/8-inch shank end mills via ER collet or equivalent toolholding systems. Series: ASQSC4-AT-CC-30H.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Use a properly sized collet or toolholder matched to the 1/8-inch shank diameter and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Avoid over-tightening collet nuts, which can deform the shank or shift concentricity on small-diameter tools.
