The ACCUPRO 14796300 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of small features in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.0625 inch (1/16 inch) mill diameter and a 0.0050 inch corner radius, this tool produces controlled edge breaks and radiused corners in tight geometries. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration supports efficient chip evacuation and smooth finishes. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a bright/uncoated finish, it is suited for high-accuracy work in materials where carbide rigidity is required. CNC machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers of this tool.
This end mill fits within the miniature series, making it appropriate for small-part machining, mold work, and detailed profiling where larger tooling cannot access the feature. It carries a 0.315 inch length of cut and a 1.5 inch overall length, with a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) shank diameter. The single-end, centercutting design allows for plunge entry and slotting operations. It is commonly used in vertical machining centers and CNC mills handling precision components in aerospace, medical device, and mold-and-die environments.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature corner radius end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch collet or toolholder systems on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills requiring small-diameter carbide tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the 0.125 inch shank in a matching collet or end mill holder, ensuring proper seating depth and runout within machine tolerances before operation. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for the tool diameter and workpiece material before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as small-diameter carbide tools are susceptible to breakage under improper load conditions.
