The ACCUPRO 14796233 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 0.0469-inch mill diameter, a 0.0100-inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The cutting edge is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which provides heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and high-hardness materials. With a length of cut of 0.0700 inches and an overall length of 2.5 inches, this end mill belongs to the Miniature series and is intended for close-tolerance finish milling, profiling, and slot work in small-scale or tight-geometry applications. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working with precision milling equipment.
This end mill is suited for finish profiling, contouring, and corner-radius form milling in miniature or micro-scale workpieces. The extended reach design, with a reach length of 0.5700 inches, allows access to recessed features and deep cavities without interference. The centercutting geometry permits plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral cutting. It accepts a 0.125-inch (1/8 inch) shank and fits standard collets and end mill holders of that bore size. Typical applications include mold and die work, precision aerospace components, and medical device machining where controlled corner geometry and surface finish are critical.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature end mill compatible with standard 0.125-inch bore collets and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in an e-stop or locked-out state per applicable machine safety procedures. Seat the 0.125-inch shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention nut to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or wear before use. Handle carbide tooling carefully to avoid edge chipping during setup.
