The ACCUPRO 14795991 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in tight geometries and small-feature work. The ball nose profile generates contoured surfaces, radii, and 3D profiles that flat or square end mills cannot reach. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this tool holds tight tolerances and resists wear at elevated spindle speeds. The 0.0312 inch diameter with a mill diameter tolerance of +0.0000/-0.0010 inch ensures consistent, repeatable results. With a 2-flute, right-hand spiral configuration and a 30-degree helix angle, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This miniature end mill is suited for CNC machining centers, high-speed milling operations, and manual mills capable of holding the required RPM for small-diameter carbide tooling. Typical applications include mold and die work, engraving, micro-slot milling, and detail work on hardened or soft substrates. The single-end configuration and 1/8 inch shank make it compatible with standard collet systems. A bright, uncoated finish means this tool can be run with or without coolant depending on the workpiece material and machine capability.
Designed as a miniature single-end ball end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with collets accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in a safe state. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet and tighten to the collet manufacturer specification before running. Small-diameter carbide tooling is brittle and susceptible to breakage from runout, improper seating, or excessive lateral load - verify collet condition and runout before use. Feeds, speeds, and depth of cut must be appropriate for a 0.0312 inch diameter carbide tool; consult machining data references or the ACCUPRO catalog for recommended parameters.
