The ACCUPRO 14788346 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.1410 inch mill diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this two-flute tool is built for slotting, profiling, and plunge cuts in tight geometries. The centercutting design allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. A helical flute geometry with a 38 to 42 degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces at the tool tip. The cylindrical shank measures 0.1880 inches in diameter and 2 inches in overall length, fitting standard collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for light finishing and semi-finishing passes in small-feature work such as mold cavities, slots, and contour paths. The 9/64 inch nominal diameter makes it a common selection for detailed profiling in toolrooms, job shops, and production machining environments. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working with mills, machining centers, and multi-axis equipment.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 9/64 inch diameter two-flute solid carbide square end mills used in collet chuck and end mill holder systems compatible with a 3/16 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Always power down and lock out the spindle before loading or removing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder and torque the retention mechanism per the tool holder manufacturer guidelines. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
