The ACCUPRO 14777954 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. It features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter with a 0.015 inch corner radius, 5 flutes, and a 1-1/8 inch length of cut. The micrograin carbide construction delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for demanding production environments. The bright/uncoated finish makes it well suited for aluminum applications where coating adhesion can be a concern. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace, and general metalworking environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is part of ACCUPRO's AL-5 series, engineered specifically for aluminum machining. The 3/8 inch straight cylindrical shank fits standard tool holders. With a 3 inch overall length and standard length-type designation, it fits typical milling setups without requiring extended-reach tooling. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC milling operations. The variable index geometry helps reduce chatter and improve surface finish during cuts.
Designed for use in aluminum machining applications as part of the ACCUPRO AL-5 series. Fits standard straight-cylindrical shank tool holders accepting a 3/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. The tool should be secured in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torqued to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts. This end mill is not center-cutting and should not be used for plunge entry directly into solid material.
