The ACCUPRO 14556360 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) mill diameter with a 0.010 inch corner radius, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry combined with an AlTiN+ coating makes this tool well-suited for high-speed cutting in ferrous metals, hardened steels, and abrasive materials. The stub-length configuration and straight-cylindrical shank provide rigidity for accurate, repeatable cuts. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining facilities.
This end mill fits applications requiring a tight corner radius in finishing or semi-finishing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, expanding its versatility in pocket milling, slotting, and profiling operations. The AlTiN+ coating extends tool life in dry or minimal-lubrication cutting environments where heat resistance is critical. The Series 6/44 designation places it within a standard stub-length product family common in general-purpose CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank with standard collet or end mill holder tooling.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the retention device to the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or wear before each use; a damaged AlTiN+ coating reduces heat resistance and can accelerate tool failure.
