The ACCUPRO 14508308 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance material removal in precision machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide stock, this 4-flute tool carries an AlTiN+ coating that extends cutting life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy applications by reducing heat buildup at the cutting edge. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and helps maintain surface finish quality at aggressive feed rates. With a 0.75-inch cutting diameter and a 1.5-inch length of cut, it handles slotting, peripheral milling, and profiling operations. Machinists, CNC operators, and tool-and-die professionals install and run this class of end mill in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill is suited for milling operations where consistent tolerances and hard-material capability are required. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration is standard for conventional and climb milling on CNC equipment. The straight-cylindrical shank seats in standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling. It is a regular-length geometry appropriate for general-purpose work where extended reach is not required.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers accepting a 0.75-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Part of the ACCUPRO Series 6/44 end mill line.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the retention mechanism to the toolholder manufacturer specification before starting the spindle. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or wear before each use. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against the material being cut and the manufacturer cutting data before engaging the workpiece.
