The ACCUPRO 12462448 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.059 inch cutting diameter and a 0.177 inch length of cut, this tool handles tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in small-feature work. The micrograin carbide construction delivers hardness and wear resistance suited to demanding cuts. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright, uncoated finish keeps the tool ready for use without additional surface treatment. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where dimensional accuracy is critical. The 0.059 inch diameter makes it appropriate for fine detail work, micro-slot cutting, and precision contouring in tool-and-die, mold, and prototype machining environments. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction are standard for CNC and conventional vertical milling setups. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders common in precision machine shops.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for micro square end mills in the ASQSC2-CC-30H series, compatible with standard 1/8 inch collets and tool holders used in CNC vertical machining centers and precision manual mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet or tool holder. Verify collet size matches the 0.125 inch shank diameter before tightening to manufacturer-specified torque. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as micrograin carbide tools can fracture if run in a damaged condition.
